Condition
This painting is in very good condition. The canvas is unlined and well stretched. The stretcher seems to be original. The paint layer is clean but unvarnished, which is appropriate for this kind of picture. There is no instability, and the only restoration is to the corners, where very slight scuffing has occurred over the years. The work should be hung as is.
