Condition
The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. Stretcher bar marks are visible along the top, center, and bottom of the canvas. Craquelure is present in various areas of the black background in addition to the lower right portion of the central right figure; and specifically a line of craquelure that runs horizontally across the lower quadrants. Slight rippling of the canvas is visible in the upper right and lower right quadrants. Light white/gray scuffmarks are present along the upper right edge and in the lower quadrants. Under ultraviolet inspection, fluorescing does not occur. Overall this work is in generally good condition.
