The panel is in good condition considering its age. The painted panel is tightly bound and displays no significant paint loss. Tiny fissures in the paint can be seen along the joints of the white panel as a result of dimensional movement in the wood. The black and white pinstriped background is crisp and legible. The white frame is dirty with considerable soiling along the outside edges. The suspended wires are in good condition and all are accounted for. Tiny losses in the black paint were noticed on the painted wires, which have resulted in minor rusting below. The panel is structurally sound.
