Condition

The canvas is unlined and very slightly buckling. The surface of the work is in overall good condition. The left edge is lightly abraded. There is fine craquelure and pinpoint flaking in the bottom left quadrant. Some of the darks are visibly matte to the naked eye, namely in the lower left corner and the area between the student's body and left arm, and these areas fluoresce under UV light.
