Description

  • Chaumet
  • emerald,pink sapphire,diamond,gold
The brooches modelled as two birds perching on circular-cut diamond-set branches, the bodies set with pear-shaped double-cabochon emeralds, highlighted by pink cabochon sapphire-set eyes, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, both signed. (2)

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, two pear-shaped double-cabochon emeralds are medium green colour, translucent clarity with surface-reaching fissures and abrasions. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.40 carat, are about G to I colours, VS clarity. Both are signed, with French assay marks to the back. Condition: Vintage brooches coming from an European noble family, signs of wear to the metal, overall in good condition.
