ICY JADEITE 'LAUGHING BUDDHA' , JADEITE AND DIAMOND PENDANT NECKLACE

The translucent icy jadeite carved as a Laughing Buddha, bordered by circular-cut diamonds, surmounted by a translucent jadeite cabochon of emerald green colour, accompanied by a link chain spectacle-set with circular-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat pink gold, length approximately 390mm.

Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the icy jadeite "Buddha" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the icy jadeite "Buddha" is almost semi-transparent, of icy tone. Upon transmitted lighting, there are some white spotty inclusions, not seen when worn. The jadeite cabochon in the surmount is translucent, of intense, bright emerald green colour. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.55 carat, are about H to J colours, VS to SI clarity. Condition: Karat pink gold mount, in mint condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US.
