LAVENDER JADEITE 'GUAN YIN', RUBY AND DIAMOND PENDANT NECKLACE

The translucent lavender jadeite carved as a Guan Yin, surmounted by an oval ruby, accompanied by a link-chain, accented with rose-cut diamonds and ruby beads, the rubies together weighing approximately 3.50 carats, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold, length approximately 450mm.

Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the lavender jadeite "Guanyin" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the lavender jadeite "Guanyin" is translucent, of medium mauve tone. Upon illumination, there are some white clouds, mainly to the back. Oval ruby set in the surmount is of brilliant red colour, eye clean and lively. Other ruby beads are slightly deep red, translucent clarity. Diamodns together weighing approximately 0.65 carat, are about I to J colours, VS clarity. Condition: Karat blackened gold mount, in mint condition.
