Of stylised firework design, centring on a cabochon ruby weighing 11.38 carats, decorated by pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 8.45 carats, mounted in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold, signed. Ring size: 6¼

Colour and Clarity: According to both Gübelin and GIA reports, the ruby is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Special note from Gübelin further states that this ruby comes from the most famed Mogok Valley. Also accompanied by a GIA Monograph stating that the ruby is of vivid red, “pigeon’s blood” colour, and highlighting the rarity and beauty of this ring. Please refer to the reports, note and Monograph for further details. In our opinion, the cabochon ruby is of brilliant, strong red colour, eye clean. Upon 10x loupe, there are natural inclusions and some surface-reaching fingerprints, not seen to naked eyes. Diamonds are about D to E colours, VVS to VS clarity. Signed J W Currens.
