Colour and Clarity: According to the Gübelin and SSEF reports, the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement. Please refer to the reports for more details. In our opinion, the emerald is of a vivid green colour and fine crystalline quality. Under 10x loupe, there are typical inclusions, particularly to one corner, commonly seen in emeralds. The diamonds are of H colour, VS1 and VS2 clarity according to the GIA reports.
Condition: In mint condition.

Catalogue Note
Accompanied by SSEF and Gübelin reports numbered 58670 and 11091019 respectively, dated 8 March 2011 and 13 September 2011, stating that the 10.63 carat emerald is natural, of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement. Further accompanied by SSEF letter stating that the emerald "possesses extraordinary characteristics and merits special mention and appreciation... exhibits a well-saturated green colour, combined with an attractive octagonal shape and cutting style... Natural emeralds from Colombia of this size and quality represent a great rarity and the described gemstone is thus a very exceptional treasure."
