Description
- Carving approximately 111.61 x 81.68 x 52.20mm.
The jadeite of celadon tone suffused to the outer layer with patches of orangy-yellow russet colour, carved as a Laughing Buddha, holding a ruyi scepter in one hand and the branch of a peach tree in the other, surrounded by five children playing amongst vines entwined with ruyis, peaches and coins symbolising longevity and prosperity.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the jadeite "Buddha" carving is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the jadeite carving is translucent, of celadon tone with medium to intense yellow patches. Upon close look with illumination, there are natural clouds, not noticeable in normal visual distance.
Condition: This jadeite ornament is offered without reserve. Very clever use of colour, traditional jadeite carving object, in very good condition.
