OPAL, PINK SAPPHIRE AND BROWN DIAMOND 'SNAKE' RING

Modelled as a snake pavé-set to the obverse with graduated pink coloured sapphires, the head set with an oval cabochon opal measuring approximately 12.20 x 10.30 x 4.20mm, to the eyes set with brilliant-cut brown diamonds, the pink sapphires together weighing approximately 8.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and blackened gold. Ring size: 4¼

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the jelly opal, probably with the matrix on its back, is almost transparent with noticeable play-of-colour. Pink sapphires are of graduated shades from very light to vivid purple-pink colours, eye clean and lively. Two brown diamonds are of slightly deep, yellowish brown hue, VS clarity. Condition: This ring is offered without reserve. Please note the ring cannot be re-sized and currently is American size 4 1/4. Karat white gold mount, with signs of wear and minor scratches to the mount, otherwise in very good condition.
