VERY FINE JADEITE 'LAUGHING BUDDHA' AND DIAMOND PENDANT NECKLACE

The highly translucent jadeite of intense emerald green colour, carved as a Laughing Buddha, surmounted by a brilliant-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.30 carats, accompanied by a link chain, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 440mm.

Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the jadeite "Buddha" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite "Buddha" is highly translucent, of even and strong emerald green colour. Upon strong and transmitted illumination, there are only a few minor cloud inclusions and not seen in normal lighting. Diamond is about G to H colours, VS clarity. Condition: Karat white gold backing can be opened to reveal the thickness and tranclucency of the piece, overall in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the U.S. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
