Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the cabochon jadeite on the "bat" brooch is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, this jadeite cabochon is highly translucent, of medium soft green colour. Upon illumination, there are cloud inclusions, very common to natural jadeite. The cabochon blue chalcedony on another brooch is translucent, of light violetish blue colour. Labradorite feldspar on the "penguin" brooch/pendant is of light milky grey colour with strong bluish labradorescence upon illumination. Overall the diamonds are about H to I and intense yellow colours respectively. All pieces are signed "apin" on the back.
Condition: The "penguin" pendant is detachable, with brooch fitting on the back. All in very good condition.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the U.S. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation.
