bidding is closed
Description
- red spinel, diamond, platinum, gold
Centring on an oval spinel weighing approximately 4.80 carats, flanked on each side by a cushion-shaped diamond, framed by circular-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.00 carats, mounted in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to SSEF report, the red spinel is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal treatment. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the red spinel is of slightly deep, strong red colour (similar to Thai ruby), very clean to naked eyes and lively. Upon 10x loupe, there is a crystal inclusion, not noticeable. Two cushion diamonds are about H to I colours, VS clarity, and other tiny diamonds are about I to J colours, similar clarity.
Condition: Platinum and karat gold ring mount, in very good condition
