ICY JADEITE AND DIAMOND 'DRAGON' CALLIGRAPHY BRUSH

The highly translucent icy jadeite brush carved with auspicious motifs; two flying dragons chasing a ball, seawave and a carp, a qilin holding a ball, strung on linked black cords highlighted by a red ball, completed by a white brush with a brilliant-cut diamond-set rondelle and a black hard stone cap, mounted in 18 karat white gold; accompanied by a bronze stand designed as a crane riding on a turtle, height approximately 405mm.

Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the carved icy jadeite is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the icy jadeite cabochon has good translucency, of very light celadon tone. Upon strong illumination, there are some white clouds, but generally not noticeable in normal lighting. Diamonds are about H to I colours, VS to SI clarity. Accompanied by a bronze "Crane and Turtle" stand. Condition: Overall in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the U.S. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
