Description
- JADEITE
- Ornament approximately 190.00 x 108.00 x 55.20mm.
Of semi-translucent lavender colour, carved as bamboo symbolising longevity and endurance, highlighted by leaves and sprouts, with a crouching cicada and mushrooms of light apple green tone, completed by a carved wooden stand.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the lavender jadeite carving is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the lavender jadeite carving is semi-translucenct, of light to medium light mauve tone, with very light green colour patch on the bottom at beetle and mushroom carving. Upon very strong transmitted illumination, there are two natuarl internal partings running vertically through the ornament, but generally do not affect overall integrity and not noticeable in normal lighting.
Condition: Nice craftsmanship, in very good condition.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the U.S. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation.
