Condition

The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a few small spots of retouching along the extreme upper edge and one small spot of retouching to the sky near to the upper left corner. There is a pin-sized hole to the centre of the extreme right edge. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall the tones are warmer in the original.
