Condition

Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount at the upper two corners. The sheet is slightly time-stained and there are intermittent glue stains along the left, right and lower edges (not visible when framed). There is a paper loss to the upper part of the extreme left edge, and a vertical tear along the central part of the right edge (neither of which are visible when framed). There is a tiny tear to the peineta, some light creases in places, and a few spots of foxing to the lower left quadrant. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate, though the paper tone is slightly less pink in the original.
