Condition
Executed on cream laid paper, laid down on board. The upper and lower edges are very slightly unevenly cut. There are some small nicks and tears to the extreme upper and lower edges and some glue remnants to the left, upper and right edges. There is a minute tear to the upper right green window and a fine diagonal scratch to the centre of the sky (visible in the catalogue illustration). There is some very light craquelure to the light blue pigment of the right-hand house in the left half of the composition. Otherwise, this work is in overall fairly good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the white pigments are slightly more blue in the original.
