Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is an opaque layer of varnish but there does not appear to be any retouching visible under UV light. There are some fine lines of craquelure in places and some localised paint shrinkage, away from the face. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall slightly warmer in the original.
