Condition

Oil on unlined canvas and slightly slack in the stretcher. The picture surface is in generally good condition with bright, fresh colors. Under UV light: there are minor small areas of inpainting along the upper left edge and two small areas in the sand near the lower right edge. The upper right corner has been inpainted, as has the neck, face and area in front of the face of the left figure.
