Condition
Oil on unlined canvas. There is another medium that has been mixed with the oil - perhaps sand - that gives a three dimensionality to the picture surface. The weight of this mixed substance causes the canvas to undulate on the stretcher, on which the canvas is slack. The varnish on the work is uneven, matte in some areas and shiny in others. There is minor surface dirt throughout. Under UV light, there are no apparent inpaints visible.
