Condition

The reverse of the work is painted with an abstract image. The masonite has some rubbed and nicked edges, especially at the corners and extreme edges. There are three small holes along the upper edges, which appear to be from a nail or other such item. The picture surface is in generally good condition aside from surface dirt and an unevenly applied yellowed varnish. The impasto is still quite fresh. Under UV: there are no apparent signs of inpainting.
