oil on canvas. The surface is covered in a layer of slightly yellowed varnish. There is some craquelure in the sky area, and minor paint loss along the edges. Under UV a few minor spots of pigment fluoresce in the sky, but varnish prevents a conclusive analysis. Held in a wood frame with cloth slip. Unexamined out of frame.
