Condition

The sheet is in generally good condition and has been hinged along the top edge of the work. The watermark of the paper can be seen on the recto on the left edge of the work "Vidalon Les Annonay a Lavis Canson & Montgolfier". There is some minor rippling evident. There is light staining and toning, perhaps due to an earlier matting.
