Condition
Canvas is not lined. There are a few scattered surface stains, mostly around the lower right quadrant and some minor abrasion in the upper left corner. Under UV light areas of uneven varnish fluoresce on the figure's right and left shoulders and there are a few pindot retouches in both of those areas. In addition there is a 3 by 2 inch area around the figure's left eye that displays inpainting and there is also a small spot in the background of the composition just above this eye. The area around the eye corresponds to a patch on the reverse, otherwise fine. Work is in generally good condition.
