Condition
The canvas has not been lined. The surface is a little dirty and covered with an uneven layer of slightly yellow varnish though the colors remain bright and fresh. Minor frame abrasion is visible to extreme outer edges of the composition. Thin lines of stable cracking are visible t the thickest pigments including the whites in the buildings and boats as well as the thicker areas of blue in the sky. A little flaking has occurred in some areas toward extreme outer perimeter including blue sky at top-right and blue and green water at center-right. The paint layer appears stable. Under UV light: certain pigments fluoresce but no inpainting is apparent and overall the work is in good condition.
