Condition

The canvas has not been lined. A very faint vertical stretcher bar mark runs down a few inches from the top center edge. There are some extremely minor, stable lines of cracking to the white pigments nearest the seated figure's knee. Two pindot-sized flecks of pigment have been visibly lost, one at the extreme top left corner and along the extreme bottom center edge. Under UV: some minor scattered spots of retouching are visible, particularly to the extreme outer edges, though a masking layer of varnish is difficult to read through. The work is in good condition.
