Condition

The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a few spots of retouching, mainly to the upper left corner, towards the centre of the upper edge, and along the centre of the right edge. There are three pin-holes to the upper left corner, one to the centre of the upper edge, and one to the right corner. A further pin-hole is visible to the centre of the lower edge and lower right corner. There is some frame rubbing to the extreme left and right edges. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the work is less pink in the original.
