Condition

Executed on cream laid paper, laid down on the artist's mount which is taped to the overmount along all four edges. There is scattered foxing to the artist's mount, and the colours of the composition have been slightly time-struck. There are two thin vertical creases towards the centre of the right edge and a horizontal incision running along the lower part of the artist's mount: these are all intrinsic to the artist's process. There is some very minor paint shrinkage to the white impasto. Otherwise, this work is in overall fairly good condition.
