ovale, le couvercle serti du portrait d'une jeune fille à la chevelure ornée de fleurs, école française, milieu du XVIIIe siècle, encadré d'une guirlande à noeud de rubans, la monture à cage ciselée de guirlandes d'épis de blé et rubans, la bâte ornée de petits pilastres encadrant des panneaux de laque couleur aventurine décorée de nuages et pavillons, la doublure en or, poinçon de maître partiellement effacé, probablement celui de Michel de Lassus, poinçon de charge de J.J. Prévost
oval, the lid inset with the miniature of a girl with flowers in her powdered hair, French school, mid 18th century, within a ribbon-tied swag frame, the cagework mounts chased with interlaced husk garlands and ribbons, the sides divided with small pilasters, enclosing panels of aventurine-ground lacquer decorated with airy pavilions and clouds, gold-lined, maker's mark partially rubbed but probably that of Michel de Lassus, charge marks of J.J. Prévost
