Catalogue Note

The present example was awarded the Gold Medal from the National Observatory Time Contest in Besançon. It is part of very few watches that were awarded this first prize in timing contest at French National Observatory. Interestingly the prize winning award was engraved on the cuvette with the inscription 'Breguet No. 2894 Bulletin de 1ère Classe de l'observatoire National de Besançon Médaille d'Or' to show the importance of this watch from its timing contest results.
