Catalogue Note

This example of a beetle form watch is very unusual in its size, almost twice as big as standard beetle form watches from that period. It is most certainly a special order for an important customer at that time. In excellent condition, it is one of the best examples to appear on the market. In the area of fantasy watches the form beetle is considered a work of art by many collectors, with this example being the ultimate choice.
