Condition

The movement is running and the chronograph is operating at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service soon. Dial in good condition. The case with some scuffs from wear. Diameter of the case including the crown guards is 46 mm.

Catalogue Note

Rubens Barrichello, the Brazilian racing champion, has been competing in Formula One since 1993. He drove for Ferrari from 2000 to 2005 as Michael Schumacher's team mate. After Schumacher's retirement, Barrichello became the most experienced driver on the grid. The Brazilian has had a remarkable career, ranking in the top 5 of the world championships on 5 occasions.

This limited edition timepiece conveys the key qualities of the Royal Oak offshore collection, but also incorporates unique design elements from the world of motor racing. The bezel is adorned with eight screws reminiscent of the engine screws, the bezel joint is similar to the ventilated disc brake and the crown is evocative of the gear cog.
