Condition
The movement is running at the time of cataloguing and the repeating function is properly ringing, however it may require a service in the near future to be well preserved. The dial is in very good condition. The case is in good condition with a few light scuffs but overall the watch is in good condition. This is a very rare and unusual Audemars Piguet model.

Catalogue Note
One of a limited number of 10 pieces only, this watch displays Audemars Piguet's reinvention of a original and classic design. In 1909, industrialist John Schaeffer requested a customised and unique timepiece from Audemars Piguet . This watch was therefore made in honour of Mr Schaeffer.
The unconventional time indication using the star wheel invention inspired other watch manufacturers such as Urwerk with the 103.03 and Harry Winston with the Opus V.
