• circular nickel lever movement • dial with engine-turned centerfield, gold chapter ring inlaid with mother-of-pearl cartouches with black enamel Roman numerals, black enamel and gold hands, the hour hand in the form of a 7-pointed star • gold bezel heighted with blue enamel geometric design • square onyx case, the corners accented with coral pyramid-form studs, hinged strut • dial signed, case with hand-stamped reference numbers

The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may require service soon. The movement is unsigned. The back of the case is hand-stamped with Cartier numbers. The dial and case are in very nice condition overall with no losses or imperfections. The case back, strut and crown are gilt metal. The inside of the case back appears to be numbered 7977 and 9069 9, though the numbers are difficult to read. The outside of the case back reads 0302. The hands appear to be replaced and probably re-enamelled. The easel back requires some fine adjustments. Otherwise in very good order.
