The movement is running at the time of cataloguing and the alarm is functioning, however it would benefit from a service. The enamel dial with a slight scratch at 3 and a small chip to the edge at 1. The hour hand is loose. The case with some wear to the engine-turning and slight tarnishing throughout.

This watch represents a fine and early example of a Vacheron Constantin alarm watch in its original three piece consular case. When one opens the silver case, the movement hinges outward to reveal a finely finished movement featuring a balance bridge pierced and engraved with the signature VACHERON & C. The crispness of the engine turned case combined with the beauty of the original enamel dial with elaborately painted enamel Vacheron & Constantin signature make this watch a trophy for any collection.
