• brass window display with red and gold colored enamel on a curved black enamel watch tray, the frame containing a period advertisement for the Patek Philippe Ref. 2526 • the frame further embellished with a forged brass Patek Philippe calatrava logo
Condition
The enamel frame with light surface wear. The Ref. 2526 image under plastic coating with some rippling and discoloration; black enamel on base cracking with some lifting and loss, logo panel in excellent condition, a rare and unusual piece of Patek Philippe history!

Original Patek Philippe window displays from the 1950s are exceptionally rare and are coveted objects for collectors of horological ephemera. This display features a previously undocumented advertising image of the Ref. 2526 and the manufacture's first automatic movement, the caliber 12-600.
