- A RARE 18K WHITE GOLD DIAMOND-SET LADY'S RING WATCH CIRCA 1965

• cal. 1401 nickel lever manual winding movement, 18 jewels • silvered dial, applied dagger indexes • the diamond-set bezel hinged within ring setting • case, dial and movement signed • set within a 18k white gold ring • diamond weight approximately 3.04 cts
Condition
In virtually untouched condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may require service soon. The dial is spotted lightly from age. The case back features the original Rolex sticker and very few signs of wear if any.
The inside of the case back is numbered 2151 and 160.
The diamonds are approximately F-G in color and VS in clarity.

Catalogue Note
Featuring the original factory sticker and Rolex fitted ring-form presentation box, the present lot is offered in new old stock condition.
The present model is an exceedingly rare example of a ring watch made by Rolex, and is furthermore a beautifully designed and timeless piece for an elegant female collector. Very few pieces are known by the firm to have been cased as jewelry pieces. In the extensive genre of Rolex reference books, only a few non-wristwatch pieces are published. Among these are a ring watch and a whimsical brooch watch, illustrated in The Best of Time: Rolex Wristwatches, Dowling, J. & Hess, J., pp 288 and 296.
