- A RARE 18K YELLOW GOLD AND ENAMEL OPEN-FACED WATCHCIRCA 1905 MVT 332254 CASE 201204
- yellow gold and enamel
- diameter 46 mm
• jeweled nickel lever movement, 18k gold cuvette • silvered dial, stylized Arabic numerals to the matte chapter ring, the center engraved with a scrolling floral design, subsidiary seconds, Louis XVI-style hands • case with floral polychrome cloisonné enamel design • case, dial, movement and cuvette signed
Condition
A lovely example. The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may require service soon. The engine turning and numerals are very attractive, and the dial shows some slight discoloration to the chapter ring near 7 and 8 o'clock. The case shows surface scuffs to the finish of the enamel, but no visible losses.
