The case is stamped FB This is a fine example of a Ref. 2508, and is often overlooked in favor of the ref. 565, highly reccommend this piece. The movement in going order, although would benefit from cleaning The case- the exterior has not suffered from overpolishing and the gold marks are only slightly rubbed, the interior of the case at the 6 o'clock position is slightly rough at the edges, although this is not visible The dial- generally very good condition, almost no scoffing and patina is an excellent color.

Production of Ref. 2508 began in 1951 and ceased around 1960. Like Ref. 565, which also featured a large case and screw-down case back, Ref. 2508 was known as the "Grande Calatrava Etanche".
