Condition
Overall a very good example from this period of a classic stainless steel Ref. 565 with Breguet numerals,
The dial has a lovely patina and a good example of an early 565 dial, case with some insignificant pitting to the threads, movement with minor wear to bridges and is in going order, although would benefit from a clean
The movement is marked HOX, indicating it was made for the American market

With an Extract from the Archives confirming sale with Breguet numerals on July 20th, 1949.
The appeal of this example is greatly enhanced by its use of Breguet numerals, a dial variation coveted by collectors for its attractive and elegant look. Today only approximately 24 examples of Ref. 565 with Breguet numbers are known.
