Movement and minute repeating are in working order while cataloguing. The repeating sound is in nice harmonic tone and rhythm. Dial is nice and clean. Case with light hairline scratches, clean in general. Hallmarks on the side of the lugs are strong, no signs of any polishing. Nicely preserved. Overall condition is very good.

Vacheron Constantin, the oldest watch manufacturer founded in 1755, is renowned for its high complications and its minute repeating function is considered among the most coveted by collectors.  

This particular example crafted in platinum and with a two-tone silvered dial is emblematic of the firm's impeccable tradition.  Vacheron Constantin concentrated their development of the minute repeating wristwatch from the 1940s onwards.  In 1993, the prestigious Swiss watch manufacture unveiled their modern, slim minute repeating caliber 1755, named after the year of the firm's founding.  Collectors of this high complication will appreciate the exquisite tone and well-paced minute repeating sound, coupled with its easily wearable and timeless appeal.
