Manual winding movement running and chronograph function fully operational while cataloguing. Dial looks nice and clean. Diamonds on the case are well matched in size and color. Case and buckle with minor scuffs and hardly noticeable by naked eyes, there is no signs of repolishing and all hallmarks crisp. Overall appears in very good condition. The REF. 5071G combines haute joaillerie and haute horlogerie effortlessly and served as the blueprint for the gem-set complicated masterpiece, the Ref. 5971P.  The Ref. 5071G houses the Nouvelle Lemania movement, calibre CH 27-70, widely regarded as the most beautiful classic column wheel chronograph mechanism in existence which was manufactured exclusively for Patek Philippe.  

REF. 5071G was only made available to Patek Philippe's top-tier clients upon special request, making it arguably the rarest version of the highly-acclaimed chronograph REF. 5070.  This magnificent timepiece is finely set with 118 baguette-cut diamonds, weighing approximately 11.55 carats.  Its 18k white gold case also measures 42 mm, making it the second largest wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe, with its diameter falling 0.8 mm short of the Sky Moon Tourbillon.  Its masculine black dial flawlessly complements the diamond-set numerals, expressing the elegant style of this rare gentleman's timepiece.
