• cal. 27-70 manual winding nickel lever movement stamped with the seal of Geneva, 24 jewels • silver dial, applied black oxidized Arabic numerals and feuille hands, subsidiary guilloché dials for constant seconds and 30-minute register, outer minute and 1/5 second track and tachometer scale • polished case, stepped bezel, sapphire glass and screw-down case back • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k white gold Patek Philippe folding clasp
Condition
Movement running at the time of cataloguing however it may require a service in the near future to be well preserved. Dial in very good condition. Case in very good condition showing one very light scuff to the bezel at 9 o'clock. Overall in very good condition, it appear to be never worn.

Catalogue Note
Favoured for its sporty, elegant design, Ref. 5070 is the second largest wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe, with its diameter falling 0.8mm short of that of the Sky Moon.
Ref. 5070 also represented Patek Philippe's return to production of chronograph-only wristwatches in 1998 after an almost 30-year break.
The white gold production started in 2001 and it is thought that for each colour, after reaching one thousand pieces the production was interrupted to go on with next colour.
