Catalogue Note
The Reference 5396 Annual Calendar was first launched in 2006 with unique double in-line apertures that reflect the style of the 1940s and 1950s and the latest generation of automatic calibres, the 324 series. The white gold version was created in 2008.
Based on the reference 5296 "Calatrava", with a stylistically modern "sector dial", this timepiece is a blend of classical elegance and technical refinement. In 2010, Patek Philippe replaced the sector dial with traditional gold markers, therefore making this earlier version more sought-after by collectors.
