  • the bust 19 1/4 in., 48.8 cm.; the socle 6 5/8 in., 16.3 cm.

Condition

Standard minor surface abrasions and wear. Minor chipping to some edges of bust and drapery, including one chip on fold in center of chest. Some very small isolated pits (inclusions inherent in the marble). Restoration to tip of nose. Small brown stain in hair behind ear. Remnants of tags on reverse of plinth and in lower right corner of top section. Could benefit from light cleaning. Plinth with chips and losses around edges. One larger chip on back proper left of plinth. Surface of plinth waxed.
