The canvas support is stable with an old relining. The paint surface is in good condition over all, with very slight blistering in the upper right corner and upper center. There is a slight impression from the stretcher on the upper and right hand edges. Inspection under UV reveals some strengthening to the darks in the coat of the central dog and possible old retouching in the sky. The painting would benefit from a light clean and a fresh varnish. Offered in a carved gilt wood frame with some losses.
