Condition

The supports are both stable. The paint surface of each is in very good condition with only a little surface dirt. Inspection of the female figure under UV reveals very fine retouching along the craquelure pattern in the face and chest and a small filled loss on the center right of the oval. The male figure shows no discernible intervention. Both offered in carved gilt wood frames.
