le masque d'un Putto au centre est surmonté de deux sirènes de part et d'autre du heurtoir lesquels, de leurs ailes déployées, supportent à leur tour deux dauphins aux queues entremélées. Ecailles et plumes sont liées avec harmonie.

There is generql wear to the patina consistent with age. There is a minor casting flaw on the tail of the proper right mermaid. There is a modern fixing to the back of the upper section. There is a modern screw hole in the bronze mound, presumably to attach a strike. Otherwise the condition is good.
